Is Shein Puppy Keep a Scam?

People love calling things a scam the moment they don’t win instantly. Shein Puppy Keep has officially joined that list – loud complaints, dramatic comments, and a whole lot of people quitting halfway through and blaming the game instead of their consistency. So let’s be honest about what Puppy Keep actually is, and how you can successfully get your prize.

So is Shein Puppy Keep a scam? Short answer – no, Shein Puppy Keep is not a scam. Long answer – it absolutely does test your patience, your consistency, and your commitment to raising a digital puppy like it’s your actual child.

I’m saying this as someone who has personally received around four or five prizes from Puppy Keep so far. Real prizes. Delivered. No funny business. I have not lost a single round yet!

But here’s the part people don’t like hearing: you have to play it every single day, and you have to stick with it for a really long time.

What Is Shein Puppy Keep?

Shein Puppy Keep is a daily in-app game inside Shein where you “raise” a puppy by logging in, feeding it, completing small tasks, and slowly building progress toward rewards. The prizes range from an 8 pounds voucher upto items worth around 30 pounds, you can choose your own prize at the beginning of the game.

It’s designed to reward loyalty, and if you stick with it, they do send your prize out once completed.

Why People Think Shein Puppy Keep Is a Scam

Most of the “this is a scam” comments come from people who try it for three days, forget about it for a week, then come back shocked that they didn’t magically win a prize.

Puppy Keep is not instant gratification. It’s not a one-click giveaway. It’s a long game. If you don’t log in daily, if you skip feeds, or if you abandon your puppy halfway through, you’re not going to win. That doesn’t make it a scam, that makes it a commitment issue.

And yes, I’ll say it: anyone calling it a scam because they gave up early is clearly not as good of a dog mom as some of us.

My Real Experience With Puppy Keep

I’ve won multiple prizes by doing the same boring but effective thing every day – opening the app, feeding my puppy, completing the tasks, and not rage-quitting because progress feels slow.

Is it fast? No.
Is it annoying some days? Absolutely.
Does it work if you stay consistent? Yes. Repeatedly.

The game rewards dedication and routine. Treat it like brushing your teeth, not like a lottery ticket.

Tips to Actually Win Shein Puppy Keep

The biggest tip is consistency. Daily play matters more than anything else. Missing days slows everything down.

Set a reminder on your phone so you don’t forget to feed your puppy. Do the easy tasks first – daily logins, feeding, and any quick interactions available. Don’t ignore small progress just because it feels slow. Puppy Keep is designed to stack tiny gains over time.

Shein Puppy Keep FAQ

All the questions you wanted to know about Shein puppy keep game

Is Shein Puppy Keep legit?

Yes. Real people receive real prizes, including me.

Do you have to play Puppy Keep every day if you want to win?

Pretty much. Skipping days will seriously delay your progress. You can afford to miss a day very very rarely, like once or twice in your puppy’s lifetime but more than that and you’re probably screwed.

How long does it take to win Puppy Keep?

It does depends a little on the prize you’ve picked and how the algorithm seems to be going for you, but either way expect months, not weeks or days. This is not instant.

Why do some people never win?

Because they quit early, forget to play, or expect fast rewards without daily effort.

Is it worth it?

If you’re already opening the Shein app regularly, yes. If you get satisfaction from completing a challenge and getting a little freebie then also yes. If you hate routines and commitment then probably not.

If you’re from the neopets generation and already know what it takes to raise a digital pet….then come on in this time we’re getting prizes for it rather than just a piece of omelette or some random items from the money tree.

Do You Need to Invite Your Friends on Puppy Keep to the Game to Win?

No, you don’t need to invite your friends to win Shein Puppy Keep. Invites can speed things up a little because they give you bonus points or extra progress, but they are not required to actually finish the game and win a prize. I’ve won without aggressively spamming friends or turning my group chats into a Puppy Keep recruitment center, although, I have to admit I did get many of my friends into Puppy keep…. then they one by one abandoned me though!

Daily play, feeding your puppy, and staying consistent matter far more than how many people you invite.

Note – I personally do not bother with the Gem master mini game in Puppy Keep. That one asks you to invite so many people, and just doesn’t give the rewards it’s so annoying.

But if you do have any friends in the game, join the invite contest. There are Facebook groups you can use for that too, if you’re inclined but it’s not a must.

Do You Need to Make Purchases on Shein to Win?

No purchases are required to win Puppy Keep, but it does help speed it up. You can complete the game without spending money on Shein at all though.

Making a purchase does unlock extra food or mood toys to give you small boosts, but it’s optional. If Puppy Keep only worked for people who spent money, I wouldn’t be calling it legit. The game rewards time and consistency, even if you’re not spending.

But if you are a regular shein shopper, you’re going to want to put your orders through on the game instead of just within the app as normal, so you can benefit from those extra foods.

Do the Hearts Slow Down on Puppy Keep as You Get Closer to the End?

Yes, the hearts do slow down as you get closer to the end of Puppy Keep. The percentage increase starts to move much more slowly, and each feed feels like it barely nudges the bar forward. This is completely normal and part of how the game is designed. It doesn’t mean you won’t make it or that the prize is being dangled out of reach on purpose. The final stretch is meant to test consistency, not trick you into quitting.

In some cases, Shein even offers extensions or extra time near the end, giving you a chance to finish if you keep showing up and taking care of your puppy.

When Do They Give the Puppy Keep Extension?

Puppy Keep extensions usually show up toward the end of your game, but the timing isn’t as fixed as it used to be. It used to reliably appear when you had exactly 24 days left, but lately it’s been much more flexible and can show up later than that. There’s no button to trigger it and no guaranteed day it drops – it’s something Shein releases automatically. The best thing you can do is keep playing daily and feeding your puppy consistently, so whenever the extension appears, you’re active and don’t miss it.

Is It Harder to Win if You Pick a More Expensive Prize?

Yes – picking a more expensive prize usually means it will take longer to win. Higher-value items tend to require slower progress, more feeding, and more time overall. That doesn’t mean they’re impossible to get, but you’ll need extra patience and daily commitment.

If you want a quicker win, choose a lower-value prize. If you’re in it for the long haul, the bigger prizes are doable – just don’t expect a fast finish.

The lowest value prize you can get is the 8 pounds voucher, but I have seen friends fail on this prize too so it really does need consistency either way.

Shein Puppy Keep Quiz Answers

From time to time, extra features pop up in Puppy Keep, and one of the most common is the quiz. The Shein Puppy Keep quiz usually includes animal-related questions that are pretty straightforward if you take a second to read them properly. Think basic pet care, animals, or puppy-themed questions rather than trick questions. If you miss one, the game often asks you to invite a friend or complete an extra task to keep going. It’s slightly annoying, but it’s just another engagement feature – not a punishment or a sign you’re stuck. These quizzes are temporary bonuses, not something you need to stress about to win overall.

Shein Puppy Keep Hack – Is There One?

Everyone wants a shortcut, but honestly? There’s probably no real hack to winning Shein Puppy Keep. No secret button, no magic trick, no loophole that suddenly finishes the game for you. The only thing that consistently works is showing up every day and feeding your puppy. That’s it. Puppy Keep rewards routine, not clever workarounds. If someone claims they’ve found a hack, it’s usually just another way of saying they stayed consistent longer than everyone else. Feed the puppy. Repeat.

Can You Play Shein Puppy Keep Abroad?

Yes… with a small catch. When I was on holiday, I noticed I couldn’t feed my puppy at all when I was connected to local Wi-Fi. I kept getting an error message, which was confusing at first. It turns out some countries simply don’t have Puppy Keep available, so the game won’t load properly on local networks. The workaround was easy though – I turned off Wi-Fi and switched back to my own mobile data, and suddenly I could feed my puppy again with no problem. If you’re traveling, just keep that in mind and try your data if the app starts acting weird. Otherwise, if you leave the puppy without feeding for a whole week you probably will lose the game.

Are There Any Other Games Like Shein Puppy Keep?

Shein does have other games, like Tree of Life, but personally I never won that one. It leans heavily on inviting a lot of people, and that gets old fast. Puppy Keep feels much more manageable and actually rewards showing up daily rather than spamming everyone you know.

Temu also has similar games – there’s a water-the-tree style one that I tried but I gave up on those pretty quickly. Honestly… it just couldn’t compete with my puppy. I don’t have the patience to juggle five different game features when all I really want to do is feed my dog and move on with my day. For me, Puppy Keep wins by a mile.

Final Verdict on Shein Puppy Keep Game

Shein Puppy Keep is not a scam – it’s a test of patience. If you’re consistent, loyal, and willing to show up for your pixel puppy every day, it works. If you want instant rewards with zero effort, this is not your game.

So no, it’s not a scam. It’s just separating the casuals from the committed, and if you show dedication to your virtual dog then yes you too can earn your free gift on the shein puppy keep app.

If you’ve won prizes too, share this post and let the fake dog moms stay mad.

  1. Note to all readers

Each day you can realistically get 40 x 100 feeds. That is only 0.4 of a heart.

The game needs 100 feeds per heart.

The only real choice to get a heart a day is to use the “6000” points bag which means spending at least £23 EVERY DAY.

To get an £8 discount voucher you will have to

To spend 1 hour a day (at least) getting half a heart. And £23 a day to get a full heart.

It will take you around a month x 2 hours to get a prize .

    Congratulations. You spent about 60 hours and (30 x £23) £780, to get £8.

In terms of hours you were paid £8 / 60 hours which is around 13 pence an hour.

Do not play puppy keep. Unless you are unemployed, extremely bored and willing to earn 13p an hour for 60 hours, more than a working week.
