I mostly agree with this, except that there is a strong possibility the election was stolen. If it was, it was not by Russia or Russians, but by the GOP operatives and officials, who used the same methods they have been using for decades to steal the 2000 and 2004 elections and many others at all levels of government. Greg Palast has done heroic work on this, also for decades, and has mostly been ignored by mainstream and alternative press alike. OTOH, you are right that if Hillary had run and even marginally more competent campaign, e.g., made an effort in those four Great Lakes states, she could have overcome this.
Unfortunately, it's also not just the Kool Kids you mention who are going full-on Major Kong. Lots of people who should know better, and normally do, are losing their minds. Charles Pierce and Lee Papa come to mind, but there are plenty of others.
she was an unpopular candidate because of her own public record and public acts ( such as laughing at gadaffi's death and paraphrasing julius ceasar on tv, which clearly showes what a sociopath she was).
being seethingly arrogant about it and haughtily stealing the nomination from a more popular candidate hardly helped. having little program but "i'm not quite as deplorable as him" and "more of the same" didn't get her too far.
she really didn't need any help defeating herself.
