A Legal Question
From the New York Times:
One of those bills — which has been supported by Koch Industries, libertarians and business groups — would make wholesale changes to certain federal criminal laws, requiring prosecutors to prove that suspects “knew, or had reason to believe, the conduct was unlawful,” and did not simply unknowingly violate the law.
Many laws already carry such a requirement — known as “mens rea” — but Congress left it out of many others, and libertarian groups say that has made it too easy to unknowingly violate obscure laws. Some environmentalists argue, however, that the real motive of Charles Koch, the philanthropist and the company chairman, in supporting the legislation is to block federal regulators from pursuing potential criminal actions against his family’s network of industrial and energy companies, a charge the company denies.
Any lawyers out there? Whatever happened to ignorance of the law is no excuse?

Ignorance of how the powerful change the law to benefit themselves is also no defense.
finally figured out this hacking. This yellow light was in this computer, I knocked it out but they've been in our house, we've called VZ and asked them to call FBI, was getting ads for parrot.com, on and on, it will take several books but I noticed a long time ago the DVD port being used to send laser light from one computer to another across the room. So I left the laser on in the other Trisquel computer and put a $1 Million per minute addendum on that with RS having the right to change it at his discretion. Don't care much about collecting but still haven't heard from the FBI and they wouldn't take calls, even when half naked childen appeared on youtube and I figured that out from knowing about algorith. I wonder if Verizon ever called the FBI. Time will tell.
So I guess that little yellow light in the other computer is what they roke in here to put in the computer. They also left an AT&T SIM card still in the holdder in here and I put the number on the net so where that came from is whoever broke into here I guess, including when we were at Peace Church in June. McAfee (owned by Intel) was warning us about dangerous links at Patriot News a while back but now we can't install Windows. After 3-500 installs and a million other things, I think it's over. Hope I live.
