As Seen on TV

This is a commercial for the egg cracker we got for Christmas:

And these are the results obtained in our own test kitchens:

I'm sorry to say this, but the cracker is evil. The advertisement eggs were ringers. No one could known this before the empirical studies in your test kitchens. So no blame accrues. But it is clear, now, that the satanic device is designed to crush the spirits, along with the eggs, of aspiring cooks. One can only applaud the good spirit with which this dreadful reality was discovered.

"Organic Garbage" I'll have some of that, please: maybe even seconds, if that's aloud.

Too funny. Thanks for sharing!

Hmm. The one in the advert has vertical handles, and an anvil movement. The one in the kitchen video has horizontal handles and some manner of squeezing movement.

I find fingers work well enough for me. The trick is to crack the shell at least halfway around using a hard surface, and then break the crack open without being afraid of getting egg on your fingers.

But it's so easy to do by hand that even I can do it.
