Bud Lite Lime?
Once again the MSM has buried the lede. Only in the sixth paragraph of the Rolling Stone story that sank General McChrystal do we learn that, “he prefers Bud Lite Lime (his favorite beer).” This does not call the general’s judgment into question; it demonstrates that he has none, which is by itself a firing offense. And yet none of the other coverage I’ve read has even mentioned that McChrystal is a swill addict — lime-flavored swill at that.

Having witnessed 3 massacres in the Vietnam war, the thing that bothers me the most about the McChrystal article is that while he is saying less casualties of civilians, he is quoted as saying, basically, you go out there and kill and I'll apologize the next day.
I'm sorry, midnight murders by professional thugs is not my ideal for america.
Of all the good beers that a guy in his position could be helping himself to, he has to kick back with lime-flava Alka-Seltzer. I wonder if it comes with a straw?
Suspect it shows he's dishonest, not tasteless.
Maybe he prefers Scotch and soda but wants to sound like a lightly modernized regular guy.
Or maybe he has an advertising deal, like the superhero with the racing-style sponsorship patches in *Mystery Men*?
