A Thought for the Day…

…brought to you by William McGurn, a speechwriter for former president George W. Bush and now for Rupert Murdoch, former Australian:

Seldom does dawn rise on an America where the morning’s New York Times displays a more intuitive grasp of a story than the New York Post.

When does dawn rise? At sunrise?

Seldom does either one of them have an intuitive grasp of a story. If they had, we might not be in a war sold on lies that were perfectly obvious at the time. at least to those who bothered to read the front-page stories where reporters are allowed to slip in the truth from time to time. Or ditto to read the stories buried deep inside.

Or you could just read the blogs, although I guess most of their info comes from the papers, just like the info on TV.

Beware of any "news" that issues from the pages of that "former Australian", who sold his birthright and citizenship just so he could purchase another nation's more profitable newspapers and spread his own personal garbage among its larger population.mfd
