Bush Revealed as Humane
From a Washington Post interview with White House chief of staff Joshua B. Bolten:
Bolten said another of his goals when he took over was to try to get the country to see the likable boss he and other aides saw in private, convinced that would boost Bush’s popularity. “I failed miserably,” he conceded. “Maybe in the beginning of the sixth year of a presidency, that’s a quixotic task… But everybody who has actual personal exposure to the president, almost everybody, appreciates what a good leader he is, how smart he is and, especially, how humane he is.”

Yeah, I read it early this morning. Bolten said he was a "good decision-maker". Good enough to authorize torture. What a load of crock.
I understand Ted Bundy was quite charming once you got to know him...
Cute. Blood on his hands. Presumably his own from the time when he fell off his bike. Would you have run a picture of FDR with blood on his hands? Harry Truman? Whether you agree with President Bush or not he has done the same thing they did not because he wanted to kill people but becuase they wanted to kill us. Remember 9/ll? It wasn't that long ago.
This is really a cheap shot, even for you.
Not a cheap shot at all. Ask the relatives of hundred of thousands dead Iraqis and a few other millions who are displaced.
"But everybody who has actual personal exposure to the president, almost everybody, appreciates what a good leader he is, how smart he is and, especially, how humane he is"
That's almost exactly what many folks said about Hitler. He was soooo charismatic when you had actual exposure to him, especially hie eeeeyes! And he never killed a single Jew with his own hands, that's how humaaaane he was!
