Oh, I don't know. If I had thought of it I might have yielded to temptation.

My thought was "good mouser!" One of mine, in her sprightlier days, used to tap the mouse off the desk so it could swing free---and be batted until it was vanquished.

Note that the mouse is "in check" while the nap continues. If the mouse moves away,...well, there could be retribution.

I've been giving this matter some thought, which is way more than it deserves. I didn't spot the obvious title that Chuck did because I didn't see the mouse as a mouse, but as a compositional element and a contrast in texture with the cat. Maybe I should have called it "Mr. Sleek and Mr. Fluffy." On the other hand, maybe not.

I'm sure those papers that he's sleeping on are the ones that you are needing. Cats have an unerring sense for sleeping right where you don't want them to be.

I am an Apple guy, having moved up from KayPros when the world was young. But in my house are many mansions.

oh a friend of mine had a KayPro / havent heard the name in many years / as for me i started with a webtvbox when they first came out in 1996 and now have been through four Macs inc. the two i use now / i have almost 75 years so i chuckle when i see that McCain does not know to to do Teh Google / heh / get him a webtv box !!
