“We’re not satisfied with forcing Russia to destroy its nuclear weapons and recant its ideology. Now we’re really going to get even: we’re sending experts to show them how to run their economy. Am I missing something? A country with a five-trillion-dollar debt is giving advice on handling money?”

Please keep the quotes coming. I am doing a marathon of Carlin comments of my own, as a tag line at the end of my emails. What a loss. Maybe he didn't get (and he wouldn't have wanted) a state funeral a la Russert, but he is well and truly memorialized in places like this and elswhere in the blogosphere that counts.
