To all my progressive/liberal friends, you might be interested to know that Google is not your friend. Protest with your wallet. Boycott Google Checkout and don’t use Froogle.

I want to be able to embed ifilm but don't think that is possible on yet. They seem to be adding support for new formats all the time, though.

Google is censoring in China. Google is censoring in America. But can any for-profit enterprise be trusted to pursue values higher than money?

And therein lies an important point that cannot be expressed in mainstream media at all.

Then of course is the dilemma, how do we support ourselves doing good? The need to survive forces many to prostitute themselves, to serve the people that intend nothing but to use them and have no care for them as human beings. And then it is indistinguishable, who is the master and who is the prostitute, both do wrong and speak lies.

Somehow, God provides for us. You can't look at it as a financial investment, it's a karmic one. Everyone invests in some kind of karma, good or bad.

I had already stopped using google when I read on Raw Story they contributed millions to Republicans before the last election. I changed my homepage from google to Ask.

Anyone notice that Yahoo! has disabled the comment section from it's news stories? And falsely claimed it was because some users were dominating the comments.

Hardly, they had a feature that prevented making more than 10 comments in a 30 minute stretch.

However, I did notice that the comments sections were increasingly "non-functioning" whenever it was an article critical of Bush or his administration,, or when the vast majority of the comments were negative of Republicans, or Bush, or Israel.

Oddly. But Yahoo! "fixed" that problem.
