The job he had, and virtually all the other jobs he has had, depend almost entirely on having a superb memory. I would be amazed if his memory were not photographic, or very nearly so. The entire life of a chief of staff is to remember things and then to see that they are not done, or done, or leaked, or whatever. Without a memory like a blotter, Libby wouldn't have lasted a week in the kinds of jobs he's had all his life.
