If he is like my cat you quietly approached him as he was sleeping to take the picture and he cracked those eyes open and just quietly looked at you. (Is that you reflected in his left eyeball?) You took your shot and those eyes slowly closed. Priceless.

You're on target, tdrbob, except for the left eye. That's the reflection of a Nikon SB-800 Speedlight.

I swear I can see your shadow with your right arm bent at the elbow as well as the speedlight. It's a great shot.
