Comments Are Back

At last we’re on our new server, Pair.com, running on the newest version of Movable Type. In theory this will stave off the denial of service attacks that were overwhelming Bad Attitudes.

The most noticeable difference is that we’ve been able to restore comments, which were the weak spot in our old Movable Type software that the attackers were able to exploit.

Blogging without comments was an unsatisfactory business, like dropping a stone down a well and hearing no splash. Comment away, then. Show us we’re not just talking to ourselves.

Finally, a Bad Attitudes comment fix.

I usually lurk on most sites, but often "need" to comment on Bad Attitudes and was having withdrawal symptoms.

But isn't the whole reason we blog to hear the sound of one hand clapping?

I know people who work at Pair.com, good folks. Congratulations on getting comments back up.

Paul Whiteman is a good choice.

Didn't his orchestra accompany the contestants on Ted Mack's Original Amateur Hour?
