There's also the group Accuracy in Academia, whose entire raison d'etre is to bully non-right wing professors, including encouraging students to "inform" on them by researching their party affiliations...

Posted by: Ciccina on September 8, 2006 11:52 AMAh, yes, Ciccina, the Horowitz roadshow came to Pennsylvania with its claims that leftist professors were bullying helpless rightist students out of their free speech and their chance for a decent education, and a legislative inquiry was deemed necessary.
So after an intrastate roadshow to what seemed like all of the 14 state-owned universities, the 5 state-affiliated universities, and the zillion or so state-supported colleges, universities, and community colleges, the Republican-controlled investigative committee determined that no such incidents had occurred within the state that could not have been cured by the existing administrative appeals within academia. (IOW, when you believe you deserve an A for your chemistry paper "How Hillary Clinton Stole the New York Senate Election," check with your faculty advisor rather than Little Green Footballs.)
