A little while ago, I put up this excerpt from First Mom: the Wit and Wisdom of Barbara Bush:
Don’t ever lend your car to someone you gave birth to or they gave birth to.
…or else something like this might happen, as the First Mom knows all too well.
Unhappily, it turns out that the elder Mrs. Bush was pulling an Ann Coulter on us. I just came across this in a book of homilies called Life 101: "Never lend your car to anyone to whom you have given birth." It was credited to the late humorist, Erma Bombeck.
Recall the msm meme of Barbara when G.H.W. was Prez?
How she was "greatly admired by all Americans"?? And I never heard ONE American say so, even Republicans I was well aquainted with.
Let's face it: The media is bought and paid for, and liars like the Bush family are never called on their lies, proof that America reached it's zenith 50 years ago.
I hate to say it, but it is true: We will never recover from the trashing the neocons have pulled off since 11/63. Or 9/11, whichever you prefer.

Didn't Smith College nearly have a student riot when she was honored there circa 1990? After all, she did drop out to marry a senator's son, hardly a proper role model for these times.
