Incompetence, Or Raw Evil? You Decide.

Ah yes. That special Bush touch, that certain je ne sais pas, that incomparable and consistent mix of utter blithering incompetence and nation-weakening lawlessness (via):

On February 8, 2006, President Bush signed into law a version of the Deficit Reduction Omnibus Reconciliation Act of 2005 that was different in substance from the version that passed the U.S. House of Representatives. Legal scholars have advised me that the substantive differences between the versions — which involve $2 billion in federal spending — mean that this bill did not meet the fundamental constitutional requirement that both Houses of Congress must pass any legislation signed into law by the President.

Rep. Waxman: “If the President signed the Reconciliation Act knowing its constitutional infirmity, he would in effect be placing himself above the Constitution.”

No surprises here. Bush is acting on higher authority. He has absolutely no reverence for the Constitution or Bill of Rights. How we can survive 3 more years of this idiot eludes me. And it will take years for another president to undo the harm Bush has done to Amerca's ideals.

I love this quote.

"Senator, when you took your oath of office, you placed your hand on the Bible and swore to uphold the Constitution. You did not place your hand on the Constitution and swear to uphold the Bible."

The same holds for the president. Although the bible reference doesn't apply, the idiot-in-chief (Weakener In Chief) swore he would uphold the Constitution and he has abrogated his responsibiliy at every turn.

Truth is all Americans should be pissed off and do what they can to stop this child from ruining America more than he has. They also need to preventing him from starting World War III which seems to be his objective.
