Pat Hits a Homer

You can’t make this kinda stuff up.

patrobertson1.jpgPat Robertson is pissed at the residents of Dover, PA. These worthy folk, you’ll remember, decided they didn’t want their school board to consist of idiots who believe that the universe is too complicated for them to understand.

“I’d like to say to the good citizens of Dover: If there is a disaster in your area, don’t turn to God. You just rejected him from your city,” Robertson said on the Christian Broadcasting Network’s “700 Club.”

And you know it must be true, because Pat has a direct line to God. He doesn’t even have to go through the Pope.

“God is tolerant and loving, but we can’t keep sticking our finger in his eye forever,” Robertson said. “If they have future problems in Dover, I recommend they call on Charles Darwin. Maybe he can help them.”

Right. This is a God of forgiveness, but not infinite forgiveness. He gets pissed, just like the Reverend Pat.

In October 2003, he suggested that the State Department be blown up with a nuclear device. He has also said that feminism encourages women to “kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.”

Which, realistically, are all the same thing anyway.

Not so deep, under certain parts of Pennsylvania, not too far from Dover I suppose — there hot fires still burning. There is said to be a special place reserved for Pat Robertson inside that burning pit of sulfurous fumes.

Robertson has done more to encourage godlessness than any other individual. God doesn't give a rat's butt what the citizens of Dover do. You know that even the MSM is smirking when they report this stuff. As far as ID goes, God certainly didn't create Robertson since he is clearly a freak of nature.

How do I know all this. Because I get an email from God every morning.

When it comes to Robertson, I find comfort in the Bible. The Lord spoke through the mouth of an ass to Balaam in the Old Testament, and Robertson is evidence that the Almighty continues this practice even now.
